Why DollarSeeds
A seed is small. It requires patience, intention, and care before it ever becomes something visible. That's exactly how finances work — not through sudden windfalls, but through faithful, daily decisions that compound over time.
The name DollarSeeds comes from that idea. Every dollar you earn is a seed. Where you plant it — how you tend it — determines what grows. Spend carelessly and nothing takes root. Steward it well, and it becomes provision, security, and generosity.
The Bible speaks about money more than almost any other topic. Yet for many Christians, faith and finances remain in separate rooms. DollarSeeds was built to open the door between them — not just to budget better, but to steward faithfully.
"Little by little, it grows."Proverbs 13:11
Built on the 50/30/20 rule
Rent, groceries, bills — the things you need to live and serve faithfully where you are.
Dining, travel, lifestyle — enjoying God's gifts without letting them consume you.
Savings, investments, generosity — planting seeds today for a harvest that blesses tomorrow.

About the Builder
I wanted to create this app because finances is something that is heavily talked about in the Bible, but so many Christians either have no idea how to be financially capable, or they get lost in greed. With this application, I wanted to provide a way that helps users see finances through the lens that God wants us to see it. Finances should not remain disconnected from our faith life — it should go beyond tithing. It's something that should really be explored more.
I'm a senior at FAU, born in Brazil and living in the U.S. for the past 10 years. My programming background is rooted in web development — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. I also know Java, C, C++, and Python.
I've worked as an AfterSchool Counselor, a web developer at OneHope on frontend and SEO projects, a contractor at TB Financial Services building RPA tools for accounting workflows, and I'm currently a developer at Treevah and UTS Consult — two startups where I get to build meaningful products from the ground up.
Your Data, Your Control
Your finances are yours alone. You can permanently delete your DollarSeeds account — along with every income, expense, savings, and goal record tied to it — right from Settings in the app, or by email if you can't sign in.
